Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)(food stamp administration)

Increases food stamp benefits by 13.6%. (Only SNAP administration is in state budget.)

Food assistance program; administration based on formula for caseload (75%) and percentage growth (25%)

When funds are expected to be available: Within 60 days of enactment (projected April 1, 2009)

How long are funds available: Through FFY 2010

Tracking and separate reporting of expenditures required in federal reports (SF 269 (FS))
